Our Tease-O-Rama Experience, Part 2

Hello Again Lovely Friends of The Honey Buns,

Lola Getz here again to tell you about our fantastic trip to San Francisco for Tease-O-Rama 2008.

Friday October 3, 2008
Where we last left off was Thursday night after having made our Tease-O-Rama debut and having had some great food. Natasha and I were just plain tired so we skipped the late night dance party and went to bed. Friday we had nothing to do but be tourists around San Francisco. So we put on our Vaudezilla T-shirts (Roar!) and got our tourist on.

First stop was Fisherman's Warf. If you are looking for tourist stuff in San Francisco it's up by Fisherman's Warf. We ate lunch at Boudin Bakery at the Warf. I am in love with the little animals they make out of bread. I <3 bread animals! We did some wandering around and said hi to the sea lions that hang out there. Very cute animals even if they are always fighting.

There is a little secret about Natasha that I would like to share with you all. She loves (LOVES) a hot fudge sundae. So we were not getting out of SF with out a stop at Ghirardelli Square for Natasha and her love of the hot fudge sundae. She totally enjoyed it and I had a few bites just to make sure it was good.

We walked down to the bay to see the Golden Gate Bridge (there may or may not be a picture of Natasha humping me by the bridge). I love the water so I decided to roll up my pants and stick my feet in. I neglected to assess the temperature of the water before I was ankle deep in freezing water from the bay. We had a great time just being tourists even if I would not go to the wax museum because of how creepy wax dummies are.

Friday night was the first night of the large stage show at Bimbo's 365 Club. There were so many amazing performers that we got to see. Dirty Martini and Catherine D'Lish were two of my favorite from that night. Chica Boom and Roky Roulette also stole a place in my heart that night. Both Natasha and I were in total awe of Kellita and her shimmy! It was a beautiful venue for the art of burlesque to be showcased in.

I had to get back to the city I love so much. Since I was leaving in the afternoon for Chicago, Natasha and I had some brunch and got packed up to leave.

Now we are both back in Chicago and ready to kick some ass. It was a great experience and it taught us a lot. Look for some new numbers in the coming months because we are working our butts off to bring you the best from The Honey Buns.

Hugs,

Lola
